Meeting of Brothers in Practical Training and Studies Held at Don Bosco Provincial House

A two-day Meeting of Brothers in Practical Training and Studies was held at the Don Bosco Provincial House, Bangalore, on 27 and 28 June 2026, bringing together 26 participants for a time of formation, reflection, and fellowship.

The programme began on Saturday with an inaugural conference by Fr. Koyickal Jose Thomas, Provincial, who encouraged the brothers to deepen their commitment to Salesian life and mission. This was followed by two sessions on the Manual on Psychosexual Integration, led by Fr. D’Sa Roshan, focusing on healthy personal growth and holistic formation. The day also included opportunities for Confession, personal Rosary, personal prayer, the Holy Eucharist, and the traditional Goodnight Talk.

On Sunday, Fr. Uppan Sunny continued the formation with another session on the Manual on Psychosexual Integration. The participants also attended an insightful presentation by Dr. Vinay M. on “The Future of Intelligence: Navigating Emerging Trends in AI,” which explored the impact of artificial intelligence on society and the importance of responsible engagement with emerging technologies. The meeting concluded with a general discussion and sharing session, providing the brothers an opportunity to reflect on their learning and exchange experiences before departing.

The gathering served as a valuable platform for ongoing formation, personal development, and strengthening the spirit of fraternity among the brothers in practical training and studies.
