Don Bosco School Leaders Strengthen Educational Vision at Annual Meet

Bangalore, 2 August 2026: The Annual Meeting of the Managers, Principals, and Vice-Principals of Don Bosco Schools was held at the Don Bosco Provincial House, Bangalore, on 1 and 2 August 2026. The two-day programme brought together around 40 Salesians engaged in school education across the Province to reflect on emerging educational priorities and strengthen leadership in school administration.

Organised in collaboration with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), the programme was led by Rev. Dr. Godwin Daniel, Deputy Secretary, Centre for Excellence, Hyderabad, along with other resource persons from CISCE. The interactive sessions focused on school well-being, effective educational leadership, institutional governance, and contemporary approaches to school administration.

The meeting was inaugurated by Rev. Dr. Godwin Daniel. Also present were Rev. Fr. Shalbin Kalanchery, Vice Provincial; Rev. Fr. Joy Nedumbarambil, Provincial Economer; and Rev. Fr. Geo Kalladanthiyil, who represented the Province and encouraged the participants in their educational mission.

The annual gathering served as an important platform for dialogue, collaboration, and professional enrichment. It reaffirmed the commitment of Don Bosco school leaders to providing holistic, value-based education while responding effectively to the evolving needs of students, educators, and society
