CoachLab 2026: A Refreshing Learning Experience for Don Bosco Football Coaches
Vaduthala, Kochi, on 8th Aug 2026 witnessed a different type of a program called CoachLab 2026 for the FB coaches from the Don Bosco, Vaduthala and Sports for Change Hubs for a refresher course on coaching techniques and latest trends in the present scenario. The session began at 10 Am with an inaugural function presided over by Fr.Thomas Meckattuparambil, Rector in the presence of Fr.Jitto Kunnath, Director, Sports for Change, Fr.Josh Kanjooparambil, Coordinator, Commission for Sports and Music, Frs. Varghese Edathichira and Sunny Uppan along with the Coaches from the five Hubs and Football Academy, Vaduthala. The inaugural program was compered by Ms. Catherin Aimy, National medal holder in swimming. Mr.Noel joseph Assistant Coach, SC Delhi/Delhi FC was the resource person. Fr.C.J.Sebastian, Director Sports Academy welcomed the gathering emphasising the philosophy of such a program. The other sessions were handled by Mr.Alphonse Josey and Mr.Baby Josh, Coaches of DBFA. Mr.Pavin Kumar, Manager SA proposed the vote of thanks. This was a unique and useful program said the participants in one voice. Such programs are welcome in the future they said.
