World Day Against Human Trafficking Programme

In collaboration with the District Administration, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Department of Women and Child Development, District Child Protection Unit, and various voluntary organizations, a World Day Against Human Trafficking programme was organized on 30.07.2026 in the morning at the Government Girls’ Home.
The programme was inaugurated by Hon’ble Mr. Srinivas Navale, Senior Civil Judge and Member Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA). He administered the Anti-Human Trafficking Pledge and emphasized the importance of preventing human trafficking, protecting children, and creating awareness about children’s rights.
On this occasion, Fr. Kuriakose, Director of Don Bosco, felicitated the Hon’ble DLSA Member Secretary on behalf of the organization in recognition of his deep concern and commitment towards the welfare and protection of children.
The programme was attended by the Deputy Director (DD), District Child Protection Officer (DCPO), Mr. Shivasharanappa (CWC), Ms. Akkamahadevi (Department of Women and Child Development), CPI, Mr. Mallanna Desai (CDPO), Anganwadi Supervisors, Superintendents of Government and Semi-Government Child Care Institutions, the Child Helpline Team, the District Child Protection Unit Team, the Director and staff of Don Bosco, and representatives from various government departments and voluntary organizations.The programme was compered by Mr. Bharatesh, LPO.
